Acid and Base Cabinet

Acid and Base Cabinet

Corrosive chemicals should be stored in cabinets made from corrosion-resistant materials, unlike other chemicals. Acid and base cabinets are fundamentally divided into two separate compartments, allowing for the separate storage of acids and alkalis.

The cabinet body and doors are made of MDF laminate, with polypropylene coating on surfaces that come into contact with chemicals. The movable shelf system enhances laboratory user safety. Air extraction vents are placed between each shelf to ensure the regular removal of corrosive vapours. The cabinet consists of two completely independent sections, each with lockable doors.

The doors feature hinges that open up to 270 degrees and comply with DIN 68857 standards, HAFELE locking handles, and plastic vents. The cabinet doors also display a “corrosive chemical” warning sign in accordance with DIN standards.
